Have you ever been having a conversation with somebody and maybe you ask them a question, you know, inquisitively, you're curious and you start sharing with them and, or you ask them a question and then they answer and then it kind of lulls.
So you pitch them another question and then they share a bit more and you realize they're not going to return the volley here.
And so you just kind of keep going.
Showing interest in them, showing interest in them.
And you realize they are not going to show interest in you.
They are not bringing a question back your way.
Maybe you're nudging your spouse right now being like you do that or a friend by you.
Don't be nice.
OK, be nice.
All right.
That's a term that's been used a lot in recent years.
I asked my wife, Hey, Emily, could you give me some examples of like in our relationship where I just lack self-awareness? And she said, not a single time.
No, she actually, her face had the look of someone just completely overwhelmed, right? Like, where do I start? Where do I begin? I don't even know how to begin to consolidate the examples of your lack of self-awareness in our relationship.
But I actually was deeply encouraged by that exchange because I could read her face, which means I've been growing at EQ.
I could tell because EQ also has to do with, you know, things like empathy and social skills and all of that.
I'd like to introduce another term you probably haven't heard of before.
We may or may not be making it up.
Let's call it SQ, which would be spiritual intelligence.
Okay.
That's not just an intellect thing.
