Toward the close, live cattle futures were an average of 11 cents lower to an average of 28 cents higher.

Negotiated cash pig cattle trade ranged from limited on light demand in Nebraska to mostly inactive on light demand in the western Corn Belt through Tuesday afternoon, according to the Agricultural Marketing Service.

Although there are too few transactions to trend, there were some early dress-delivered trades in Nebraska at $348 to $350 a hundredweight.

Through late afternoon and through the front four contracts, soybean futures were $0.08 to $0.09 higher, helped by reports of Chinese demand.

Corn futures were fractionally lower with likely harvest pressure, and Kansas City wheat futures were mostly fractionally lower to $0.02 lower.

I didn't have any results at press time for any weekly Tuesday auctions with trends and volume.
