Dan, Frazier & Andrew write off Cardiff’s loss to Glasgow, bemoan the lack of help from other clubs, welcome the best prop you’ve never heard of, and try to cobble together a 23 for another shoot out…
Uh, uh, the deadlock opened by two tries in five minutes from the hosts, uh, before Josh Adams hit back with a smart tap penalty move coming round a fake maul setup.
Danny Southworth did go over from close range, but two more home tries made the game safe, uh, leaving Jacob Beetham's late score after some good work from Ioan Lloyd to be nothing more than a consolation.
DCB said, "Friday night disappointment." Blindside went with, "Room for improvement." Simon said, "It's never easy." Rob said, "Not really unexpected." Uh, Lee bemoaned the missed tackles excessive.
Yeah, it was, uh, it was a bit disappointing, but, I mean, I th- I thought while in the first half, with- especially the start of the game, we started quite well.
Had quite a lot of possession and territory, but we really failed to make anything out of it, and it was quite scrappy.
And then Glasgow took their opportunities when they had them, and I think that was probably a key difference between the two teams is that Glasgow are pretty clinical.
Um, they're, they're very c- like, precise in their plays and, and able to take the opportunities.
Obviously, we got those injuries, Adams coming off, and McNally, which didn't particularly help.
Like, he, he, he did the thing where he's like, oh, he, he's an incredible player.
But like, you know, obviously he's not gonna do that all the time, but he just, like, shows that glimpse.
And obviously, uh, the other Lloyd, uh, also, um, Evan Lloyd had a great game off the bench as well.
We're tired in the second half, and I think their physicality kind of wore us down.
