Episode 199 - Hot Tub Time Machine: Katrina Comeback

Funny story, uh, about this game.

So I was in Chicago a couple weeks ago running this race, and before the race I went to the, the Cubs game.

And so I was trying to get to the, the game, I was trying to take the, uh, the red line, but the red line was down for maintenance.

[clears throat] So I'm sitting there trying to figure out how the hell I'ma get there, so I was like, "Oh, I can catch it at the next stop." So I walk my ass down to the next stop.

It's under maintenance.

Like, well, shit, I guess I'ma have to just catch a Uber, so, 'cause the game is about to start in, like, five minutes at this point.

So I put in to catch a Uber, and I'm standing next to this white dude, and he's like, "Hey, you going to the Cubs game?" I got my jersey on, I'm like, "Yo." And he's like, I said, "I'm assuming you going to the Cubs game?" 'Cause he had a jersey on.

He's like, "Yeah, man." I said, "Well, uh, you wanna ride with me?" He goes, "Bro, you gonna...

No, man, let me, let me pay for it." I was like, "Bro, it's, it's an Uber ride.

Like, you can ride.

I'm going there anyway." He's like, "Oh, cool, cool, cool." Then he goes, "Well, let me buy you a beer when we get there." I said, "Yeah, cool.

No problem."

So, so we sitting there shooting the shit.

He's like, "Where, where are you from," blah, blah, blah.

And I'm telling him.

And then he's like, "Wait, did you go to LSU?" And I say, "Yeah." He goes, "Bro, I'm from Arizona.

I'm from Phoenix." He goes, "You know the first football game I ever went to was in 2005 against LSU?" I was like, "No shit.

That's crazy."

Really? Really?

So then it's, it's funny that we're doing this game because I was like what are the chances I meet somebody who went to that damn game? That's-
