When the Christian church was born, we're part of that Christian church, we have to go back and keep looking at how things were in the Bible and not go by current modern trends, because many times modern trends are good, communications have good ideas, good things to use, but they can easily get away from the original intention of God for the Christian church.

He called us to do what's called the work of the Lord, and the work of the Lord is two prongs.

So whether it's Murphysboro or Brooklyn or wherever or you're watching, we have to spread the gospel.

And power only belongs to one person in the Godhead, and that is the Holy Spirit.

So Jesus had told them, you'll receive power The other facet, the other prong of the work of the Lord is developing Christians.

Once they get saved, now how do you develop them, mature them, help them, counsel them, pray with them, console them, comfort them.

Whether you're a pastor or you're going to the camp, or whoever you are in the choir, whatever, that's the work of the Lord is mainly.

It involves prayer, it involves giving, it involves missions, it involves a lot of things.
