You've probably heard of Dick Turpin, the dashing and daring English highwayman who demanded stand and deliver from his rich victims.

He was a stylish outlaw riding his trusty steed Black Bess and in a Robin Hood like way, stealing from those undeserving rich.

He was courageous, charming and dare I say it, a little bit sexy.

He has captured the imagination of storytellers ever since, and the myth, which in fact began during his own lifetime, has been perpetuated.

The real story is far less glamorous, but equally, if not more, interesting, and it has been turned into a 10-part audio drama.
