New A-League Season For Brisbane Roar, Same Old Story?

Look, mate, we've got...

We've got a little bit to talk about.

Obviously, in the last episode, I think we spoke about a whole bunch of the new signings.

The new Moldovan striker had been announced, I think, maybe the day of or the day before or something like that.

Yeah, it was pretty fresh air.

Yeah, we've only had one new signing since then, which is Thierry Francois, former soccerer, apparently.

I can't remember him.

I'll be honest.

Once he has played, I don't know if he's played for the Socceroos or if he was selected in the team.

But yeah, he's fairly young still.

I think he's like maybe 26 or something.

Been involved in Fulham and he's come over and, you know, he's saying all the things that all of the new players say when they come to a new club.

You know, want to do the best for the club and fight for a Socceroos jersey and do the best for the fans and all the stuff that we hear from all of the players when they sign.

Look, you can probably tell that I don't really sound too enthusiastic about everything at the moment.

Yeah, look, let's start with a bit of news that got mentioned.

I just watched Total Football, the episode just before.

It's really good to see Adam Peapock is involved with A-League this year.

I'm not sure if he's on Paramount, but definitely like the A-League stuff that they do, like the Total Football podcast.

So, yeah, really, really cool to see Adam Peacock back.

So he had a panel or, you know, panel that had a discussion tonight.

And it was him, Luke Bratton, Daniel McBreen and Vince Ruggari.

And when they got to Brisbane Raw, because Vince obviously, you know, used to be a Brisbane-based journalist.

Yeah.

And, yeah, so he's still obviously got, you know, connections up here.

And he kind of, yeah, like I don't know if it was like breaking news or whatever, but he said he's heard through his sources that it sounds like Michael Valkanis has basically got one month to get things right.
