And the Anthropic's alignment lead backed this guy up and said that there would be an over 10% chance of human extinction in the next decade.
It doesn't have the capacity to build more infrastructure for itself.
So I think humans are still vital in the equation if the AI wants to keep improving.
It wants more infrastructure.
So he's missing a
critical element there.
A year ago, when I asked it to draw a layout of a house that I'm thinking of designing, it just gave me lines, okay? When I did it two days ago, it gave me fully dimensioned planning drawing set with a bunch of very smart caveats and all of that.
So if someone thinks that in two years time you will not get the full set of construction drawings, I think you have to think again, because it is going to happen, 100%, 100%.
