With that being said, speaking of EWC, let's go ahead and get down with the LCQ of the EWC, which had some fantastic matchups, some unexpected results.
But at the end of the day, the team I think majority of us predicted to make it out of LCQ.
did end up making it out of the LCQ.
But let's not get too ahead of ourselves.
Starting off with the EWC LCQ, our top 16.
The four teams from Pool A making it through were Man City, Novo, El Antique, and Valar, or Valare.
Pool B, we saw Criminals and GKE Sports making it from the uppers, and Foot and BS Plus Competition in the lowers.
Pool C, we saw Virtus.pro and Stallions making it through the uppers, and Nocar and Dignitas making it through lowers.
And finally, in Pool D, we saw the Lanimals and Gen.G make it through uppers, with PCS Stride and M80 making it through the lowers.
Quilly, Oof, any thoughts, any surprised results from this top 16?
I was expecting Triple Pop to actually make it.
That's Ossoff's team with...
I can't remember the other two.
What is their names? Motion and Bababa.
I was expecting them to make it, but they actually got taken out by No Car Esports, who made it to the top 16 as... red just mentioned and that's matt mozzarella and eugen so honestly that that the no car team really surprised me in their performance especially early on
just to make sure we're jumping straight to the top 16 right
yeah
yeah that's right yeah yeah we covered you covered all the 100 you know whatever matchups for there's too many matches there's too many let me just
say so many matches that you couldn't even watch any of them outside of one at a time because they only streamed one if you want to watch any other one you're freaking beat dude
you're gonna watch the one
match and you're gonna freaking like it
we're gonna get into that
later for sure
yeah a little a little bit scuffed on that end but uh in the top 16 was all over the place um a lot of a lot of the big names making it out um a lot of questionable teams like m80 um just that their roster of uh mech life and panda just straight up weren't there They just straight up did not have them there at all.
