I think it's always good to take a look back and see what happened coming into the quarter.

So with that kind of backdrop, I don't think it would have been unreasonable for investors to have expected a rough quarter.

Philadelphia Semiconductor Index was up 95% in the quarter, so nearly doubled in one quarter.

What I also thought was kind of fascinating about that, though, the equal weight index of the Magnificent 7 stocks.

I know, Zayla, you've been talking about a lot, but it's going the way of the dodo bird, right? Everybody's talking about mangoes now.

And what's also interesting there is that they're slightly negative year to date.

So even though technology has been doing really well, it's not the Mag7 that's continuing to outperform.

It looks like there's another group of technology stocks, particularly those semiconductors, that are doing well.
Kind of what Jeremy was saying last week on the podcast around AI is no longer just a passive strategy.

Also interesting, though, and we've talked about this and I know our guest speaker Bipin has mentioned it in his weekly updates as well as this continuing broadening out story.

So even though we saw technology doing really well, again, it's not those large cap tech stocks, but small caps and small cap growth in particular was the best performing region in the U.S. for the second quarter.
