So it's a good indication directionally of the health of the venture market, how many deals are getting done by these top firms.
So, you know, we're hovering way above the 60 that we were at a couple of years ago in the doldrums after the pandemic, but still below the 180 we were at or 190 we sort of hit, you know, or the average around 150 that we had during the pandemic craziness.
I think there's some sizable deals mixed in here that would make the dollar numbers a little scary.
Like there, there's some really billion dollar seed rounds happening right alongside $30 million B rounds.
And when I say seed, I mean S E E D, not the letter C, right? So, uh, huge seed rounds, smaller growth rounds.
And that just exemplifies the bifurcation of what we're seeing in the market today.
So a lot of entrepreneurs having a lot of success raising money from the top funds.
And it's also the case that we were looking at this the other day, but when we look at the activity and investment in the VC industry as a whole, it's shifted dramatically.
