First off, uh, over the course of 72 demos, it's kind of inevitable you start seeing some patterns that, uh, kind of develop across them.

And the, uh, the MC and the familiar face from the stage at Finovate, Greg Palmer, kind of a maybe a midpoint of the second day pointed one of those out, which I had not noticed, I thought it was really interesting.

After one of the demos he said, "Well, you know, when people are putting together their demos, they kind of have to come up with personas and whatnot." He pointed out it was the third one already we'd seen that actually s- created a fictitious customer to kind of provide their example, uh, named Maya.

We have a trend toward Mayas suddenly in the, uh, in the fintech world." Um, so he, uh...

Then he came back after the next demo and had actually spoken to the person, and I, I don't remember which company it was, and I probably wouldn't mention it even, 'cause it's, you know, no sin on this one.

He goes, "Well," the person said, "well, I, uh, I asked AI [laughs] what I should call my, uh, my, my persona, and they said Maya." So I don't know about the other two, but here we go in terms of groupthink again.

It sounds like maybe Maya is the name of choice for a financial services client, uh, to, to demonstrate your product.

But, uh, anyway, uh, here, let's jump into a, a company that, uh, spoke early in the session, our first interview, not with Maya, but we're speaking with Monica here, Monica Marpole-Bird, from a very strong company that, uh, traveled from across the pond for this one.
