Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark Joins Big 12 Today!

Two terrific days here in KC.

And how about this weekend?

I mean,

we've been talking about it all

week on Big 12 Today, but what a huge, monumental weekend for Big 12 in terms of football.

Yeah, it was a big weekend for us.

You know, I was in Provo, and...

For me, it wasn't so much about wins and losses, it was more about how do we credentialize the work of this conference on a national stage and obviously prime time on ABC gave us a wonderful platform and we took full advantage of it.

The scene in Provo was just amazing, you know, great fans, high energy, it was a wonderful night and the team played extremely well, even without arguably the best running back in the country in lj martin so as kalani said to me a couple days later brett we can be better and um but boy they were sure they sure were pretty good

well and then from your vantage point not just from a football perspective but the ratings uh the the game day ratings were incredible ratings

were incredible um that was all about being at byu And they obviously did a great job supporting game day.

And the rating itself, over a 9.1, it was the second biggest game of the weekend.

And then game day goes to Utah this weekend for the Houston game, which is ranked first ranked.

And I was telling the folks from ESPN, because you got to work for those game days.

They don't just come to you.

So I'm telling, hey, guys, just keep the trucks in Utah.

Yeah, there we go.

I mean, that's the easiest thing to do.

We're trying to help

you out.

And they said, you know what, Brett? I think we're going

to keep the trucks in Utah.

So it all worked out for us.
