Drake, we... have a lot to talk about in the big 12 this week but a team that has not even quietly but been making a lot of noise and just mowing people down is arizona how much of a threat are they i know the head-to-head with byu is going to kind of keep them there behind the cougars unless they drop another one which the holy war is next week but uh how much of a threat is arizona right now
it is interesting i would say that arizona has done this quietly you know and and maybe not for a big 12 perspective or a big 12 standpoint like we we i don't say we saw this coming this level of dominance arizona has put on especially defensively but man those who followed the big 12 for the last four or five weeks even have seen a juggernaut in what arizona has become and Credit to BYU for knocking off this Arizona team a few weeks ago.
And it's great for the conference that Arizona has looked so dominant walking into Texas Tech.
If you asked me today, Who is the better football team right now? Arizona or Texas Tech? It's pretty clearly the Wildcats of Arizona and the streak that they're on five consecutive wins, including games against Cincinnati.
We've got massive games coming up with Arizona taking on Texas Tech, Arizona taking on Utah in a few weeks, and the Wildcats look as good as anybody in the Big 12 Conference.
And the biggest piece of this, I've said it a few times on my show, I'll say it again, I think Noah Fafita is the best quarterback in the Big 12 Conference.
Devin Dampier, Conor Wegman, kind of that list goes on of quarterbacks who have played well in the Big 12 or have shown a lot of really high-end potential.
Like, I want Bear Bachmeier running the football, Devin Dampier running the football.
But if we're talking guys who can sit back and pick you apart, obviously Mestermaker is up there.
When you have a quarterback as elite as Noah Fafita, you can win any game you're in.
