Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium

I'm your host, BK Brad Kellner.

The Texas Longhorns improved to 6-2 on the 2026 season with a 31-3 victory over the Bulldogs from Mississippi State earlier tonight at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium.

Sometimes hairy, but never scary.

The Longhorns flexing their muscles, actually running away and hiding from a powerful team for the first time all season.

And a cool drone show.

And a happy Halloween.

First ever Halloween night game in the history of DKR Texas Memorial Stadium.

And the Longhorns gave their fans a victory.

I'm your host, BK Brad Kellner.

The Longhorns took down Mississippi State 31-3, the final score last night at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium.

A 28-point win.

The Longhorns now 6-2. won two straight games their college football playoff hopes are very much alive and there was a lot more good than bad in that performance right the defense was incredible Raheem Biles an absolute monster Arch Manning threw three touchdown passes Texas finally scored a third quarter touchdown right for the first time since week one only five penalties for Texas I mean they won by 28 points Plenty of reasons to feel good here on the first day of November.

Don't get me wrong.

It's nothing like DKR, but going on the road and hearing, you can hear you laughing with your teammates because it's so quiet out there.

It's a different feeling.

It's nothing like that.

So where are we at right now with Texas? Is this a team that we can comfortably say, or at least comfortably hope maybe, can make the college football playoff, where they're 6-2 right now? Where I started off 4-0, they had the number one ranking in the country.

Back-to-back losses, back-to-back blown double-digit leads against Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl and then against Florida in DKR.

Getting that win against Ole Miss was literally necessary.

I think it was a must-win game for this team.

There is also a lot that can go right, but just based on what we've seen from the lack of reliability that this team has, especially on the road over the past couple of seasons.

I cannot get by three of their final four games being on the road.

I think that's incredibly challenging for anybody, but especially for this Texas team that I just don't trust away from DKR.

I barely trust in DKR.

That's the only games going on right now.

Missouri faces Arkansas later, Mississippi State and the Longhorns later at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium.

It's been a busy afternoon in the Big 12, Scotty, and this team caught your eye, the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Tommy Castellanos, the former starter for Florida State, replaced Will Howard at quarterback for Texas Tech.

When we come back, Mark will tell us what's going on in that game.

We can tell you Utah is still crushing Cincinnati, a team that won last week over Texas Tech.

So our game is we drive you to Mississippi State and the Texas Longhorns at the stadium, DKR Texas Memorial Stadium.

It's also alumni band night, so you see all the alumni band members at the stadium as well.

It was at Tennessee, and they won that game 2017 a little bit ugly, but a win is a win.

I guess what is a good Tennessee team? You played Oklahoma neutral, but every other game has been a true home game in DKR.

Your Final Four.

They go to Missouri this week, like we talked about.

Don't really want to see him get in the end zone versus Texas, but he can fly like the rest of them.

He will be the fastest player in DKR tonight.

He'll get on the field, too.

They're slowly getting him.

the

DKR and Austin.

What's up Austin.

We'll see more option type runs to keep this rush defense back.
