In this episode of Between Two Phans, Andrea (Flagbridge Designs) and Lindsey (Phantom on a Budget) compare the North American Tour and the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera. From…
And Ashley Gilmore as Raoul.
But it was also interesting to compare.
I love it.
And I have two words to overall describe the differences.
One is enthusiasm and two is Christine appreciation, which is actually two words, but those are how I will open.
Yeah.
And then, so that's, that's what I'm going to leave there.
And Lindsay, I will throw it over to you.
What would be, how would you describe in brief overall set words?
For the tour, I'd say rabid audiences, which is amazing.
And I think energy.
It's just there's a different vibe, I think, when you walk in to the tour than when you walk into His Majesty's.
And both are amazing, but they are different.
Yes.
And I don't know.
Because I've seen London so much in the last few years that... know that's kind of been home for me lately but man like watching walking into baltimore
with those two performances like
and it was a lot it was the you know the first stop of the tour everybody's excited everything is new but that was just so refreshing to walk in to the auditorium and you just there's this buzz that you just don't get in london because it's all The drunk tourists eating their crisps in their seat who pre-trained the entire afternoon.
It's just different vibes.
They're just very refreshing to see the tour.
So having now seen the tour, we're like 200 performances into the tour.
