With all of this being interesting for a few reasons.

One, this alleged behavior is in violation of the post-MeToo house rule that prohibits members from sleeping with their staff.

And two, A lot of people, they see Boebert as someone that says they hate queer people, saying she's someone that constantly espouses Christian family values, but then doesn't live her life that way.

And as far as the specifics here, the complaint was filed by American Muckrakers' David Wheeler, which more on that in a minute, and it names three current and former senior aides that Boebert supposedly had affairs with.

Yeah, that's what makes this book so good.

It's a memoir by the woman who actually founded the Me Too movement, and she takes us back to the real origin.

Long before it was a global hashtag, those two words were a quiet whisper between two young women in a cramped Alabama basement.

That image just stopped me.

She needed to know she wasn't alone.

She needed to hear that someone else had survived something similar.

So Birch starts saying me too to the girls and women she encountered.

Not a campaign, not a strategy.

Some alleged news here about the already sex-plagued congresswoman from Colorado.

According to the Colorado Times reporter, a sworn ethics complaint filed yesterday with the US House Committee on Ethics alleges that Representative Lauren Boebert engaged in sexual relationships with three House employees under her direct supervision in violation of the House rules adopted after the MeToo reckoning that flatly prohibits members from sleeping with their own staff.

The complaint, filed by American muckraker David Wheeler under penalty of perjury, names three current and former senior aides, including Clarice Navarro, Boebert's district director from January 2021 to January 2025.

The centerpiece is the alleged relationship with Navarro, a former Colorado state representative and Trump USDA appointee who ran Boebert's district operation for four years.

Some of Epstein's other associates, including Bill Gates, said in voluntary interviews that they didn't sign any nondisclosure agreements with Epstein or Maxwell victims.

Meanwhile, you have Leon Black over here signing these agreements and paying out how much money? But sure, we shouldn't ask any more questions about Leon Black, huh? Many states banned NDAs related to sexual abuse during the MeToo movement following reporting about Harvey Weinstein.

But no such ban exists on a federal level.

And that, of course, is what this bill is looking to change.

So that's an age-old message that we've passed down to our boys.

But on the other hand, in the post-MeToo era, we are very allergic now to the toxic patriarchy, as we should be, but we've kind of thrown all the men in there and all the boys in there.

So we're constantly telling our young boys, don't be like the girls, but don't be an asshole, right? So we're always telling them what not to be, but we're not telling them who they should be and what does a conscious masculinity look like? And because fathers were raised also neglected and also without male role models, because they were raised to be stoic and not to be vulnerable either.

They were taught to suppress their emotions.

It's a pleasure.

One would say it's terrible because academic careers are being derailed because of this conduct.

People can't study in a given department because it has this reputation for tolerance of harassment.

The other way you could say is that this is the culmination of Me Too, that students will no longer tolerate a toxic environment and they're voting with their feet.

I suppose both could be true, but how do you view it?
