Natalie BusterHostI did a podcast for Psych Armor just before we did the Memorial Day show last year ago, May.
And I said that for me, Memorial Day in particular, I really don't like the fact that It's about barbecues and sales, you know.
The other thing is that it isn't just about those who die on the battlefield.
We don't honor all of our veterans for all the things they do, whether they're alive or not.
And it just was really important to me to honor those people and the families and the caregivers.
And that was really, that one really kind of solidified the run of show, if you will.
And if that one, we included having a color guard and we had an MC who was a state representative who had lost his son in battle.
in battle and the interesting things was they were both from the two different political parties and during that time they were of one party.
They literally had reached across the aisle based on their shared grief and the shared loss.
So it was really, I thought, a very, for all of us involved, we were just really moved by the love and acceptance and forgiveness and trust that came out of that one session, even though they were on opposing sides of the aisle.
So we had Color Guard, we had a youth, a youth, an ROTC band that was there.
So included the youth, but one of the most, the biggest thing for me and, and Danny Davis, our, our director, but also more than that, she's really the creator behind in honor.
She in, in, um, Los Angeles, she had created this idea around the ribbons.
