England’s New Test Faces, Hungry Pace Attack & South Asian Spin!

Well, overall, I think generally both of us are pretty happy.

I think English fans are pretty happy, which is pretty rare, isn't it? [laughs] Everyone's-

What do you say about, what would you say about the squad?

Everyone's saying, you know, got ...

Yeah, people are saying new faces.

People have been asking for new faces.

You said it at the top there.

There's a few new faces that have deserved the chance to play.

There's a long summer ahead, lots of cricket to be played.

Bash is still getting his opportunity.

I think a few people felt really sorry for Zak Crawley.

Obviously he's out the squad.

Um, but then there's also moments like Ollie Robinson's back in.

So I think overall there's not too much to complain about for England fans.

[laughs] We'll have to see what happens after, after the first test.

Yeah, that's the thing.

I don't think after the first test, I think after the series.

Except not to see what happens, but to see-

Yeah

... you know, like I said, obviously if, if England won the Ashes, would, would it, would there be changes like this being made? I don't, I don't know.

I don't think so.

I don't, I don't know.

But obviously it is what it is in that, in that, uh, in that sense.

But yeah, so you gotta give it a bit of time, like I said, with the few new faces and test cricket coming back in summer.

So you gotta give it time.
