Banchan: Bite-Size K-Drama Reviews
Oct 16, 2026 · 25 min · 10 segments
Hello, fellow K-drama enthusiasts! After a bit of a hiatus, I'm back to share my thoughts on the shows that captivated me (or didn't) over the past few months. Let’s dive into the dramas I watched…
He plays a lawyer that, um, gets possessed by spirits.
He can see ghosts, and he kinda works to solve their crimes.
I thought it was a pretty decent drama.
Um, it's got, like, a slow burn, but kinda more like barely there kinda romance.
The focus is really on the supernatural and the lawyer aspect of the drama.
Um, I would give this one an eight out of 10.
It was a solid watch, but nothing I'm like, "Oh, everyone should go and watch this." I thought it was pretty decent.
Um, I also, at the, kinda in the middle of June, watched Filing for Love, and this one is with Shin Hye-sun and Gong Myoung.
Um, I didn't love this drama, I'm gonna be honest.
It's an office romance, but it, it was kinda awkward because the whole thing with the female lead's character is that she investigates affairs that happen in the company, but then, like, goes on to have an affair.
And then Kim Jae-wook is there as the second male lead, but, like, not a great second male lead, and his story is kinda, like, off to the side and I, I just...
I don't know.
The drama just kinda fell apart for me.
Um, I didn't really enjoy the office romance part of it.
Yeah, it just didn't really work out for me.
I would rate this one a seven out of 10.
I kinda gave it mostly sevens straight across the board.
Um, I did give an eight to the acting, 'cause the acting was decent, but overall, it didn't really do much for me.
This one may have flown under the radar for some people, I think because the original network isn't one of the big ones, and you can watch it on Amazon Prime, which I think a lot of people don't really watch K-dramas on very often.
Um, this is more of, like, a youth comedy, uh, features some bromance, but takes place in high school.
It features teacher-student dynamics.
I don't wanna say relationships.
There is no real, like, romantic relationships.
