We had a darkroom so that people could demo various darkroom equipment like old school wet film and paper processing with an enlarger and everything.
Like you would have done in high school, you know, where you process your own photos in the darkroom with the red light and all that.
to have a light lock to get into the room so you didn't expose the film and the paper and so on to light.
you spun the door and on one side was the darkroom where the red light was and the other side was back in the white light.
