So, um, this grid I'd like to call A Gentle Hug, you know? Um, I was meditating, um, before starting all of this, trying to figure out, um, what we all kinda need at this time, you know? And honestly, I just...
I feel like I, I could just use a hug, you know? Um, to show, you know, an expression that I'm cared about and I'm loved, you know? All of that you get with a hug, and you kinda are able to melt into it, and I feel like we all just need a hug, an energetic hug right now.
And so I want us to think about that as we're talking about the grid, as we meditate with it.
One of those hugs you just like to sit in, you know? [laughs] You don't wanna move.
Um, so this grid was designed, um, to help us approach ourselves, but also others, uh, without judgment, and to express compassion in that way.
So, uh, it's, uh, funny enough, I find for myself, um, when I'm the most needy is when I find it hard sometimes to find compassion for other people.
Um, but then on the other side of it, when I have self-compassion for myself, it is easier for me to show others compassion because, um, I guess I see myself.
You know, with me showing compassion to myself, it enables me to be able to see myself in others, um, which enables me to attain the compassion for others, um, a little easier.
But this is what this grid was created to do for us to be able to access and express, um, that compassion for ourselves, but others as well.
