We're so skilled at creating genuine relationships with all types of things, and people, and animals, and I think the robots are just, like, a natural extension of that.

Part of the criticism or concern there is that maybe our empathy or our emotions are like a finite resource, and if we put them onto this robot or put them onto this chatbot, that maybe we won't have enough left over for human beings and animals.
I think our attention might be a finite resource, so I'm worried about the ways that technologies get designed to manipulate people's attention, and time, and money.
The whole promise of humanoids is that they can be in spaces that are built for humans and probably still have humans in them as well, so it's really important to, you know, get the safety right for the technology.

So the question ultimately is, like, how and can we hold these companies accountable when things go bad?
