So now to my talk, which is when music takes our breath away, the sounds of reverence.

So each Sunday we express our joys and concerns, including today.

And so this talk that I'm about to do is sort of an extended joy for me.

And so that's why I thought I would come and light another candle.

I am no expert on music.

I can't explain the technical aspects of music to you.

What I can express is the joy that it brings me and maybe try to explain some of why that is and also the role that it plays in my spiritual life.

And my hope is that it may get you to reflect a bit on music in your life and also share some of the joy that I feel.
