Uh, the day after we found out, I watched Muppet Treasure Island, because I hadn't seen that in a really long time, and obviously he's amazing in that, but I mean, everybody should go watch Rock and Roll Picture Show just for the hell of it, because, you know, that's basically where it started.

I found this, because, you know, after people die, you find out of all this obscure shit that they did.

Yeah, he was the pirate.

He was, he was the one human in the Muppet Treasure Island.

Yeah.

Um, one of my friends said that their connection to Tim Curry was, uh, that he voiced the organ in Beauty and the Beast's Christmas special.

So,

like, Muppet Treasure Island, him as Long John Silver.

I'm a professional Pyrex.

That means so much to me.

I watched that with you.

And, of course, in the midst of that, I also did a rewatch of Muppet Treasure Island.

Oh, yeah.

Totally.

I've done my lemon puppy cake.

But what did we land on? We, Muppet Treasure Island.

I honestly, I couldn't believe we would ever at Roll Film do this movie, but I can't, I'm glad that we did it.

I'm not glad of why, but what a, what a classic.

Really cool story.

I mean, later we get Treasure Planet, one of the last great classical Disney movies.

But I decided – or I should say I pitched Muppet Treasure Island because it was one of Tim Curry's favorite films.

And he's still to this – well, not to this day, obviously, but one of the most recent interviews – I've seen of him when he was in a wheelchair, he'd suffered a stroke, and he would go to these conventions and someone asked him, what's the leading lady that's left the biggest impact on your life and who's the one that got away? And he said, Miss Piggy.

and terrified viewers and young co-stars as the clown Pennywise in the 1990 TV miniseries It.

As Long John Silver, he hampered up with Miss Piggy in Muppet Treasure Island from 1996.

Onstage, Curry's roles included King Arthur in the original Broadway and West End productions of Spamalot, Tristan in the original London and Broadway productions of Tom Stoppard's Travesties, and as Mozart in Amadeus in the original Broadway cast.

In 2012, Curry suffered a stroke.
