Back to School

I'll keep us on time.

I do think that this is something that I struggle with as a parent.

And you and I, I don't know if we've ever talked about this because maybe...

I don't know where you're at on it.

Okay.

My kids don't have a lot of screen time.

I was pretty...

I was really strict on screen time pre-divorce and separation.

And then survival mode changed that.

But that just meant more TV, truly.

Because to get them both to bed, one of them has to be occupied.

Because they're three and five, they were.

two and not even a year.

So it was like, you know, necessary.

But anyways, maybe it was a year.

I don't know.

Anyways, screen time wasn't a thing.

But then like I don't even have like we don't have I don't have an iPad in my phone.

Like I don't have any sort of tablet.

I did a while ago and I never use it.

I don't even have a Kindle or a book.

Is a Kindle what they even use anymore? I like to read physical books.

I didn't start doing audio books, but like I just started doing that because I joined a book club, which was also like, of course, I have time.

What the hell? and I never use my laptop I definitely like I said there's one time that my kids watch something on it I don't even know where it is if I'm not working and I don't do like phones other than my social media stuff for the business I don't even know how to use my phone so my kids really aren't plugged in but they have to be a little and now starting my girl in kindergarten I had this moment about a month ago that I was like she can count to almost 50 she knows her name she knows my name she knows her address she knows like you know all the kindergarten things and I'm like shit does she even know how to turn on a computer yeah and they have these blocks like they were going over her schedule and stuff and we got it in an email and I was like I don't I don't know if she's even interacted like with a screen like the ones that you can touch.

Yeah.
