**Welcome to the 50th Episode of Anime One At A Time Podcast.** **Haha, we made it to the big 50 episodes and I know I am behind on episodes but will get there haha. For 50 I chose a beloved…
To start off with, I've been watching the Mermaid one, which I was really excited about for the summer season, which is Goodbye, Lara.
That is really taking everybody by surprise.
And this, what I love about this show in particular is not just because it's reference, it takes reference from the original Little Mermaid story from the original novel, but but also every, all the animation has been hand-drawn in like a 90s style.
It is so different.
And it's like bringing back the early 90s style.
And all of this has been hand-drawn as well.
And it's just amazing.
Even the plot is like, it's definitely, you know, you think it's just going to follow the same Little Mermaid formula and it doesn't.
It's taken a flip and we go, we're put into the everyday life.
And I just love the spin on this.
And I think where it's going right now with what...
Lara, our mermaid heroine has to do.
I'm loving where it's going.
It is definitely any I think anybody is just going to end up loving this.
Doesn't matter, you know, anyone who even doesn't like romance or any of that sort of thing.
So easy.
So easy to follow the plot.
And it's just so unique.
It does stand out this summer season.
So I've been loving that.
Then we have our cute, adorable romance of the season, Kaiju Kamalai's Girl.
about a girl who, you know, when she really likes a boy and really likes something, unfortunately, different parts of her body change into a, well, she was, well, different, blah, blah, blah.
