New Girl 2x18 Recap | "TinFinity"

But before we do, we're going to do plot recap quotes of the episode and then uh my random question at the top but first off Tinfinity was written by Kim Rosenstock and Josh Malmuth directed by Max Winkler who is making his return after directing Cooler that was the last time we uh we saw his episode direction it's fun to have him back Plot recap.

Actually, surprisingly, a lot of stuff happens in this episode.

I forgot about how much random stuff happens.

So we've got a couple of major things happening.

One, as we have alluded to, Nick and Schmidt are celebrating 10 years of living together, hence Tinfinity.

So they are putting together a party to celebrate this.

Things don't go as planned, mostly because Schmidt and Nick get into it about their conflicting personality types and that is a major theme of this also in this episode jess is still struggling with the nick of it all and kissing nick so she's like hey i really want to get myself back out there and i want to kiss another mouth to erase that mouth um which of It's very funny, too, because she mentions at the top of the episode that Schmidt was actually the last person she kissed, which I think is just great to mention as you as you do.

And let us just never forget.

Let's never forget.

So guest star Steve Howey is in this episode who plays a football player named Jax, who just decides that's the guy I'm going to make sure kisses me first.

And Winston and Jess have a little bit of a story because Jax and Winston know each other because Winston interviewed him.

Lest we forget, Winston has a job in sports radio in this season.

Yeah, he's wearing a suit like the whole episode.

I did think about that.

I was like, wow,

Winston.

Winston is the straight character in this episode.

Like, everyone else is chaos.

And Winston is just like, please do not ruin this work relationship for me.

But just does.

More on that later.

And then, of course, we are continuing the Cece Chevron.

I know we say Chevron, but we make it a point in Bachelorette to know that everyone says his name wrong.

Well, also, literally, I'm getting ahead of myself, but when Schmidt talks to him in this episode, in the same paragraph, he says Shivrang and then Shivrong.

Yeah.
