You know, I just wanna say, you know, you and I have gotten incredibly close over the last, like, six weeks because I've just, like...
You know, I've always incredibly respected you as an actress, and we obviously have a great mutual friend in, in Trieste Kelly Dunn and, and some of the other cast from Banshee who have done the podcast, but I've been going through a, uh, really tough period in my life with a breakup and just a big life transition.
And like, purely out of the kindness of your heart, for the audience listening, like, you have been, like, just so above and beyond, in some ways even greater than my therapist, of just, like-
You know, like, we've been talking about the process of, like, rumination and the powerlessness of being able to, like, the would've, could've, should've.
And not that this is about any of that today, but just the compassion, the empathy, and just, like, the willingness to engage and, like, i- is a testament to the immense humanity and the depth of your artistry, and it means so much to me.
Moreover, also getting to have you on the podcast as someone that's been an immense fan of your work for so long and, like, I mean, obviously all the things that you've done with Cameron Crowe, Banshee, Casino Royale.
I mean, you have built, like, a, a 30-plus year career, not to date you, but, like, coming up in, like, the old industry in the '90s all the way to now, it's just, like, w- uh, I mean, w- what an achievement.
It is such a perfect time for it because we're in this middle, middle moment where the, the new way that everything is hasn't fully stuck yet, and those of us that came from the old times are sitting here trying to figure out where we fit.
I love being your big sister during this time, and my heartbreaks have very much informed my work, so I completely understand.
