And I felt like I flew through it, even though you can't read that any faster than how she's reading it out loud.

Actually, even I was saying just before we properly started the episode that this would be one of the few books that I think I've read both as a paperback and also listened to via audio where it was hard to – it's hard to say which one I went through faster and which one i enjoyed more because i loved reading the descriptions and i loved when i was sitting out there because like we've had a couple really beautiful days where we're filming here in adelaide um and sitting out in the sun and just being able to sit there and like like feel what the descriptions were by reading them was just the same as listening to them And there was this kind of like beautiful cadence to the way that the sentences are written when it comes to describing what Tinker Street is like and where it is.

And oh, it was just like, oh, it felt so, it felt really open world, even though it wasn't.

Amy could have made this book twice as long and I would have still eaten it up.

For those who joined us last year when we did a Takeover Months for Beau McBride, the Amy Barry McBride books, the narrator for Treasure House is the same narrator as for those books, and she's really, really good.

Not too, like, crazy in that she's trying to do a lot of different accents, which I don't like.
