Episode 32 - Interview Debut with Sam McKinnon

So as always, we start off the news and highlights section by talking about the world of the podcast.

So first off, like I mentioned, I am looking at some other ways to get the podcast out there.

I mentioned Podbean.

I also logged into the YouTube and I'm slowly but surely trying to get my stuff uploaded on there.

I'm not going to trickle them out one at a time.

I think for the sake of making sure that I just get everything out there, I'm going to work on getting my episodes created with the audio and some sort of background visual and then post all the current ones that I have all at once so that people can go on there and listen to each and every one of them with ease so I'm going to work my hardest at getting those put together and the lady of the house is helping me with those so we're going to try to get each one of those ready to go uploaded and then I'm just going to push those out so I will have more updates here soon regarding YouTube I'm Aside from that, I'm also looking at restructuring the Patreon page.

The old Patreon structure with my tiers, how I had them set up, was cool.

It worked for a little while, but I did notice some bottlenecks.

And I think that I came up with some other ideas for some tiers that I want to offer.

So as of now, I kind of deconstructed the Patreon page and deleted the tiers that I had on there.

I am totally restructuring the Patreon.

I'm going to bring in some different rewards, some new tiers.

I won't reveal too many details about that.

But one thing that I can say is that ideally, I would love to be able to offer some of my tiers the opportunity for me to send them free packs for whatever the latest sets are.

And I know sometimes it gets really hard for people to get their hands on these sets.

So I'm thinking that if there's a way for me to get those into the hands of my supporters...

You pay a monthly amount, you're supporting me, and you at least get some free packs out of there.

I think that'll run a little bit more smoothly than the other tiers that I had.

Aside from that, I'm also looking at possibly allowing some of these interview episodes to be posted to my Patreon a little bit ahead of the full episode and allow my Patreon supporters to basically get a sneak peek and listen to that interview part of my episode maybe a couple days or so before the full episode goes live.

So that might be another Patreon perk that I'm considering that I might implement.

But I definitely want to come back strong and make sure that I am doing my due diligence at allowing my supporters to feel like they are appreciated and like they get something worth, you know, their monthly amount that they're supporting the podcast for.

So...

Again, still working on that.

I'll have some more updates once I figure things out and get things set up a little bit differently.

Other than that, I think the only other thing that I have to share for the podcast is that earlier this month, I was able to attend a super fun event held by the Beasts of the Bay.
