Okay, so like you mentioned, Mallory, major hunting seasons are coming our way this fall.

We'll start with dove season in September, and then, of course, it rolls over into deer season being a big one.

Let's talk about some of the legal issues that come up for landowners and for hunters during that time.

I guess let's start with the paperwork.

And let's talk about licenses.

Let's start with hunting licenses.

Who needs them? Where do they get them? What do they need to know?

It has never been easier to get a hunting license than it is right now.

You just pull out your smartphone and you can buy one.

So when people give me an excuse, oh, I didn't know or I didn't know where to go, it's kind of hard to believe that in this day and age.

If you are zero years old and you want to take that baby hunting, you have to have a hunting license.

One, two, three, four, all of those ages, you have to have a hunting license.

And the whole point of that is on hunting licenses, there are tags.

And so if you take your kid hunting, you don't want to give your buck tag to your kid, right? So it makes sense that kids have to have hunting licenses.

They're only $7, so it's not like a huge expenditure.

Now, fishing is free up until 17.

So that's a big question people get confused about is, well, if kids don't need a fishing license, why do they need a hunting license? So it's two different things, right? Yeah.

Totally different things, right.

And it's definitely, it's understandable just because of the tags and the need for hunter education as well.

Yeah.

And you said where to get them.

I've said on the phone is the easiest.
