The last two days, I do not know what went on with my hookups or anything like that.

I mean, it was just bite, bite, bite, load the rod up, load the rod up, and they'd just let go.

And I had a-

Dude, I had a lot of that too, Ryan, for some reason on Saturday.

And I know you're a three hook, and I'm using, I use a four ought, three ought, two hook, just like a four-finger spacing.

But we did, we missed a lot of fish.

Years ago, like in those glory years of like 2011, 2012, I used to run two hooks all the time 'cause I was like, I think the bait's spin a little bit freer-

Mm-hmm

... and, and you have to be a little bit more dialed in when you're running a three hook setup.

And I had a day where I went one for 21, and I went that night, tied three hooks, and then I went out and went like eight for eight the next day.

And I was like, "Yep, I'm good." And it takes, like I said, it takes a little bit to get it dialed in to get your spin right 'cause it is more weight of hooks-

Mm-hmm

... and, you know, stuff like that, but ...

And so if you're doing a three hook, what are you doing, a four ought, three ought, three ought? Or what are you doing, a four ought, three ought, two ought? What are you doing, five ought, four ought, three ought? Three ought, three ought, three ought? What are you doing?

I knew it was gonna be lighter and smaller 'cause you'd have to-

And sometimes I'll go two, two, two.

And that's one of the things I was trying to tell Jason when we were out there, 'cause he was using a five, four, and I just, I think that having that back hook a little bit smaller is really beneficial.

Really beneficial.
