Heartwork The Messenger Class 20

Or your driveway? And just be like, you know, you don't know what just happened, right? That's kind of...

And then Allah says, يَا أَيُّ الْمُدَّسْرِ Oh, the one who's wrapped up.

So think about that moment where you're sitting in your car and your driveway, you're just like, I just need a minute.

I just need a minute.

And then Allah says, كُمْ فَأَنذِرْ Which means, stand.

Right? Not necessarily literally to stand, but it means get up.

It's time.

فَأَنذِرْ And warn.

كُمْ فَأَنذِرْ It's very interesting.

It's very interesting that Allah pushes him into this.

And a lot of us, when we read this, we might feel a little bit uncomfortable.

And I'll tell you why.

Because we sometimes have given ourselves the luxury and sometimes the softness of saying, what? I need more time.

I need more time.

Okay? And we tell ourselves, I need more time.

When in reality, we don't need more time.

We need the push.

We need somebody to come and give us a little nudge.

because we're taking too much time, right? Think about like, for example, we can translate this to many different scenarios.

Like somebody who is applying for jobs and they're like working on their resume, they're cleaning things up a little bit, they're updating some stuff.

And someone's like, hey, have you applied? And everyone who's in that state where they haven't done it, they start to come up with a creative language.

Well, you know, I'm just kind of like, you know, I'm getting ready.

You know, I'm just kind of getting my feet under me.

What does that mean? Your feet are under you, Habibi.

Like, I'm just booting, I'm just, I'm logging on the Wi-Fi right now.
