**Phoebe is feeling the pressures of moving to the West End, after a trip to the butchers to get some meat, gives her an insight to how cruel the class barriers can be. Help is on hand from Noel…
Right, we are going to get cracking straight on to the episode review today.
Well, a dip in viewers from last week's episode.
We're now at 7.86 million viewers and that was down by 1 million viewers.
It was as if they knew what was to come in today's episode.
As you can probably tell.
Today's episode isn't one of my favourites, but we're going to start and we're going to look at it just so we know what's going on.
So we're going to begin today's episode in the 1940s and it's a different location than what we are normally accustomed to as we are in a butcher's.
We see the butcher serving a customer.
A lady that seems a little bit annoyed at the price of liver that she's buying.
However, by the time the sale has gone through, the lady is happy again after being promised some venison from the butcher, which he is expecting in soon.
She's left Michael in his pushchair outside the front door.
And the first thing to note is the dirty look that Phoebe gets from this first female customer.
The butcher welcomes Phoebe into the shop and mentions that he hasn't seen her around before.
Phoebe has noticed that the butcher doesn't seem to take any money from any of his customers and asks him why this is.
The butcher says it's because he has accounts set up with his loyal customers.
This is something that Phoebe actually wants to be a part of and asks for an account to be set up for her, especially as she would like some of the venison that was offered to the last customer.
The butcher isn't too keen on doing this for Phoebe and makes it clear that he won't be setting up an account for her.
In the next scene, we are in the new flat and the encounter with the butcher is still clearly on Phoebe's mind as she struggles with a needle and thread and seems very stressed.
