EP120: Classic Toyotas; Cars & Coffee and SGS: Germany's wildest car tuner

I'm sitting here.

It's...

We're about to cross over into November.

Yes.

Which means I'm psyching myself up to tax and NCT, my Range Rover, again.

Oof.

And...

I

don't know why

I'm...

I hate NCTing my cars because I hate people touching them.

And that extends to like, not just mechanically, I just, I don't know, weird about it and I don't like handing it over because...

While not all of the people in the NCT are invalids, some of them are.

And you get such idiot replies when you bring a P38 in.

Or when you bring most weird stuff that I would bring in.

And I've sometimes had to have arguments with them.

Now, thankfully, with my P38, I haven't had the worst of it, bar one guy who tried to kill himself with it.

he was a new guy right and I was watching this in I must also point out I wasn't in my regular test centre okay they know me my name in my regular test centre you have a local

yeah okay

yeah but at the time and this was a few years ago but same P38 had it in and I knew it was going to fail but I wanted to buy some time and I'm sitting there and this guy like he goes to put it on the on the ramp And of course a P38, I don't know, I can't remember if I've told this or not, but...

I don't recall hearing it.

A P38 obviously is not low to the ground.

No.

So usually you drive the car onto the ramp and they put these foam blocks under it and they lift the car up via that.

This guy got the foam blocks, which are akin to what you give a child learning to swim.
