Bows host Drogheda United under the lights in Phibsborough and this morning the club confirmed the move away from Daly Mount Park to facilitate the redevelopment of the venue won't take place until May of next year with the club keen to minimise their time away from the venue.

Work will begin on a new 8,000-seater stadium at the end of this year, and the hope is it'll be finished by 2029.

The floodlights will be removed later this year, so Bows won't play home games on Friday nights for the first three months of next season.

So I'm living in Phibsborough, so I suppose Phibsborough is kind of seen as kind of maybe up and coming for young people.

But it's based on a pub poster from 1907 from John Doyle's Bohemian Bar.

And there was, you know, there is still the Bohemian Bar on the corner of Phibsborough Road.

There was a Bohemian cinema.

There was a Bohemian printing press.

There was a Bohemian sweet shop.

There was the Bohemian laundry.

Even the Hush, which is one of the other great bars in Phibsborough, is named after the old changing pavilion at Dalyman.

So that entire area there is taking stuff from the club and it's part of it.

Doctor Quirky's, it's a good time emporium as they like to call it.

I think they've changed name now, but at the time it was a Doctor Quirky's casino basically in Phibsborough in Dublin.

Yeah.

So it wouldn't be, they used to, they had a big one there on O'Connell Street, a lot of people wouldn't know, but this would have been a smaller place.
