So I teach six classes, and so what happened in every class was the exact same.

That the first kid would get up, and it's usually, like, the bravest kid in the class.

So I was telling someone the other day that I can kind of gauge my mood by a specific mailbox that I get to because it's always full, and if it doesn't bother me that much, I know I'm doing well that day, but if I get into a rage about it, [laughs] I know that, like, something's bothering me, and I, you know, and I'm saying I can, like, sort of check back in my life and figure out what's making me so mad because that mailbox willReally anger me.

They had given me wormwood to try to encourage labor because I had been about a week past my due date.

I learned after the fact that if you had a prior C-section, that can increase the chances of your uterus tearing.

The night I started going into labor, my contractions were very strong and getting close together.

I had called the midwife a few times.

She was trying to convince me not to come in, and I told her, "I don't feel comfortable not coming in.

My contractions are too strong and too close together." And she told me I can't come in 'cause I'm not falling on the floor and not able to talk due to the pain.

What's confusing to me is if insurance is covering both, shouldn't they be held to the same standard?

What are the things that you're most fearful of?

I mean, sometimes I get fearful of just the way that I talk.

I definitely have that valley girl whatever, so I've definitely put on different masks and different fronts of trying to be someone I'm not in jail and in here, and just kind of keeping to myself and things like that in order to prevent myself from being bullied or from being vulnerable.

You know, you start going to groups, you start working on yourself, going deep, as she says.

I was able to join a group here called Responsibly Driven.

Our first lesson is on honesty, so just being able to admit, "Hey, I've done this.

This is what this looks like in my life." I think that DUI offenders can also get a lot of shit when they first become incarcerated.

They think they're better than, or, or they're different, or things like that, and I'm all about just breaking those stigmas.

[upbeat music] What about you, Grace? This is new for you.

Yeah, brand new, but, uh, one thing I was thinking of whenever Freddy was sharing about how she had that and then didn't, because it was so brand new for me, I think that, like, I didn't even know what I was missing until that moment when, like, Freddy shared that, and then you opened up, and then I was like, "Oh, my gosh." Like, I think it was the very next week maybe that I shared, and I was crying, and my heart was pounding, and I was like, it's just so crazy because it truly was a ripple effect.

But I was like, "I didn't even know I was, like, missing this." Like, I didn't even know.

I've never had it, so I didn't know what it felt like to feel the weight of that, like, just lifted off your shoulders when you do have the community to confess.

And to your point of, like, o- obviously, like, wanting it to be a safe space, I think if it's someone that's willing to do the same with you, that's usually a pretty good indicator-

And all of that is like a gentle pruning that the Lord does over time, so.

Um, and then my in would probably be, um, I don't know.

Um, no, I haven't reached that status yet.

I've been focusing really on, like, getting as much furniture as I can for this island currently.
