And so I think that also kind of helped, or not helped, but, like, um, contributed a bit to my pivot away from music because, um, yeah, especially, like, my last year of undergrad and then going into master's, um, like, my self-worth wasSo heavily tied to, like, the trombone that, um, it was just wrecking my he- mental health.

Um, and going into my master's did not really help that.

Um, I was really thankful that my undergrad professor was super supportive of me and recognized how much I was trying and working hard.

But then going into my master's was a little bit of a, a wa- change away from that, where I felt that, um, less, like, my efforts were being seen.

Yeah.

Whereas, like, with this field, like, I'm actually kinda-- like, I look forward to, like, what I'm gonna learn in each of my different classes most of the time.

So where, where do we go? Do we go another beat 'em up, or do we go somewhere completely different after that?

So I've picked up another recent game that I've played, which is Resta, uh, which is a platformer, but another Mega Drive and absolute classic.

Um, absolutely adore Restart.

It's such a beautiful platformer.

Um, it kind of took me a bit by surprise because it's one of those slightly hidden gems.

It, it didn't do massively well, I don't think, and it was supposed to have sequels, and I think Sega completely gave up on it.

I don't know why.

Why did you like it? [laughs]

So going into this degree program, what kind of experience did you need, or what kind of experience do you feel like would be helpful if someone wants to go into this program?

I did environmental policy in undergrad.

Recommend, recommend doing a lot of GIS classes and learning about that, which is, like, making maps and stuff, kind of.

It's really interesting, but also really confusing.

[laughs] But it's also something that is really looked for in a lot of ...

At least, 'cause I've been applying for a lot of full-time jobs now since I'm close to graduation.

But it's something I've seen that's really desirable for a lot of those positions.

Ugh.

So, I was kind of stuck.

I'm, "Need help," so I look at my sister who's not paying attention at the time, and I, like, call over to her, I'm like, "Uh, help." I can still talk at this point, I'm all fine.

And she realizes we might need the counselors, let's call them over.

So, all the girls kind of motion for them to come over in their little boat.

They're about 200 yards away.

And this boat motor is really old and really small, so they don't move very fast.

Oof.

Why don't you wear zippers?

I guess because years ago th- the older people didn't wear zippers.

Too modern, I guess, for us or something.

Still, I did not understand how zippers were considered more modern, more of a disruption than talking on the phone.

'Cause I have to have this phone.

Uh, actually the phones are more, how should I say? More advanced than what they used to be.
