I do.
48:53
Right.
48:55
If you want to get a heat pump into your house and it's over 10 years old, maybe sooner than that, but say 10 years going back, a lot of the houses in the country, they were all cottages and stuff like that and farmhouses.
49:07
They printed the old oil boilers, but a lot of them have upgraded to the likes of the Grand Vortex condensing boilers.
49:15
They're so efficient that they're nearly running fresh air.
49:19
Yeah.
49:19
As regards leaving stuff into the atmosphere, you could actually, if the boiler's tuned up properly, you could actually breathe in the fumes and it wouldn't do anything to you.
50:48
is it that in order to get, because it used to be, and then we're told it wasn't, is it the case that for certain grants, you have to comply with other things too?
1:11
Yeah.
1:13
The VAT on the kerosene is 13.5%.
1:16
The electricity is 9% and so is the gas.
1:20
So the guy living in the country is paying extra VAT on something that he can't get anywhere else, if you know what I mean.
1:25
I do.
1:26
Right.
1:27
If you want to get a heat pump into your house and it's over 10 years old, maybe sooner than that, but say 10 years going back, a lot of the houses in the country, they were all cottages and stuff like that and farmhouses.

two storage tanks, two oil tanks.
16:05
Um, Any advice that you can pass on to those listening?
16:11
Yeah, I would say there's some really good recommendations I could give that I've seen help myself and the communities that I've built or been a part of around the world that they transfer cross-culturally.
16:26
And one is that idea of what I, you know, it's theological, but also it's within a lot of ancient traditions, this concept of blessing.
16:37
What does it mean to be blessed and to bless someone? Like when someone sneezes, we'll say, God bless you.
16:43
But what does it mean to truly bless someone? And I studied this in Israeli culture, Jewish culture, and it seems to have four components.
16:52
It's when you see somebody, you know them, you know their story from the past and who they are.
17:00
And then you affirm their uniqueness.

20 MINS LATER

36:40
But I want to know, first of all, why did you write this book, The Shape of Your Eyes? What was the purpose of actually writing everything that you, you know, your kind of your biography? Why did you do that?
17:35
What's your next step? Are you a note taker? Do you plan out the whole thing? Do you do all 12 issues? Or do you talk to an editor? Do you do it all by yourself? What's your next step after you have the sort of initial idea?
17:47
Well, I think the next step is you have to get something down, usually in writing.
17:53
Yeah, usually it would be writing.
17:54
I'd scribble stuff down in a notebook.
17:57
And it might often just be this happens, that happens, this happens, that happens, to get an overview of it.
18:02
You know, I've always been a great believer And if I ever give a talk about creating comics, whether it's story or whether it's art or whether it's creating anything, I've always found it's a really good idea to work from the general to the particular.
18:17
So in other words, you have to have a general feel for the shape of the story and where the highs and lows are and the kind of.
