5:02
Mm-hmm.
5:03
Um, 'cause as you know, like, when you're an athlete and, like, things don't always click on all cylinders at all times, right? And, like, especially in y'all's game.
5:11
Like, it is such a free flow game, um, which is different than ours.
5:14
Like, ours is free flow, but it's like there's a pitch, and then you wait.
5:17
And there's a pitch, you wait.
5:18
And you play nine innings, and then you go home, and you do it again the next day, and then you do it again the next day.
5:23
So, like, for me, it's the consistency and, like, being able to show up every day, um, which is, like, a, a baseball thing.
6:33
... played well, played bad? Just speaking from experience.
1:40
So what are the similarities, you know, that you've gathered from watching your sister play?
1:45
Fast ball is a little bit of a different pace 'cause the bases are shorter and just like style of play, there's a lot more bunting, obviously slashing, uh, slapping I should say.
1:54
Just different things that kind of make the game quicker.
1:56
So footwork's gotta really be on point in softball.
1:58
Oh, I love it.
1:58
Um, there's a lot more moving pieces with strategy with just like second base has got different responsibilities and all that kind of stuff.
2:28
How did you watch USA Australia last week? And what are sort of your game day rituals when you're trying to prepare to play and also watch this crazy World Cup?
2:38
Yeah.
2:38
Um, we actually, we had a, we were playing at the same time.
2:42
Um, uh, so we weren't able to, I wasn't able to like watch the game live and I'm caught up on some highlights after, but, uh, I normally, when I'm, if I'm getting ready for games and watching games, like we, we have, we have every game on all the time in the locker room, uh, even at home too.
3:01
So, uh, it's always kind of on whether it's background always, or like the, the, the main thing that we're watching, um, just depends on the game.
3:09
But, uh, usually, I mean, for me, when, if I'm wanting to watch a game, like I want to get locked into the game, like I'm a, like watching it to learn it and understand it, especially soccer.
3:20
Cause I don't, I don't know it as well as I do like baseball or basketball or some of those things.
4:02
If you could compare baseball crowds to these crowds, what major league cities have crowds that are even like approaching this level of what, you know, Norway and Scotland are doing in these takeovers?
29:46
So how did that go for you? So how excited were you? How involved? Uh, obviously I know you weren't necessarily making the moves, but, like, did you do any recruiting calls? And then what is it looking like now with some of the new guys in town?
29:58
Yeah, I think...
29:59
I mean, Jed and Carter and, and Counts obviously have a really good pulse on this group and understand what, um, you know, we may have been lacking last season to, that, that ended our season early.
30:09
And, you know, addressed all those things with just, uh, pitching depth, whether it's the bullpen or, you know, with the starting rotation.
30:16
Um, obviously the obvious one is, is Breggy coming over.
30:20
Um- You know, I, I, I really did stay out of it.
30:22
Like, it was a, a pretty unique off-season, obviously, with, um, our daughter being born.

Have they lived up to everything, or has it been even more?
