On this week's episode we discuss the lessons we learnt on our season break. ✅Why you need to have hard conversations fast ✅How one conversation can change your whole life ✅The importance of…
darling You know what? Max Barnett actually said this to me when he saw that story on socials.
He said, put you in a forest naked and you'd come out wearing a fur coat.
And I was like, that's actually
so
funny.
But I think that is a lesson that I've learned.
You're always one conversation away from a completely different life.
That's been one of the biggest teachings for me.
And also...
Billy, the owner of the retreat, I consider him now to be one of my favourite people in that he's very inspiring.
He's created the first fitness street in Costa Mui and then others have replicated since.
But he's the OG and he put himself out there first.
So one of my favourite people I didn't know five months ago, which I find a really comforting thought that some of the best people in our lives we haven't met yet.
It was all on a whim.
It was very spontaneous, three weeks.
And if I hadn't have gone and taken a bit of a risk and been uncomfortable, I wouldn't have met one of my favourite people.
And I just find that so exciting.
You know, if you're single... you haven't met your life partner yet, if you want a life partner, if you've not had children yet, you've not met your future children.
Friendships, you've made loads of close friendships, business connections, like the skills that you've implemented and learnt there.
It's just amazing.
And that's been a big, big lesson.
Opportunities are a conversation away and people that you've not met yet are going to be big players in your life going forward.
Yeah.
So yeah, they're two juicy ones from me.
