This week’s episode is chaotic, a little bit existential and VERY juicy. We’re talking tattoo regrets, weddings, future thinking, curveballs sent to Camilla pre-race day and some VERY surprising…
You know what's not made me feel good this week, which kind of is a segue into this episode's topic? I had the weird realization, and I told you about this, and I've never, ever thought about this before because I think I am quite a present here and now person.
And that's something I always pride myself on when people always say, you know, where do you see yourself in like two years, three years, five years? I'm always just like, oh, I don't really think about that because I've tried to master the art of being present.
But I almost think that I've mastered it too much because there's been two instances recently where that's gone against me.
So number one, I had this weird realization.
It was actually when I was in the pain cave of like 70K in to a 90K bike ride where I thought, oh my God, I'm going to be... a 70-year-old woman with a load of red and black tattoos all over my arms.
I was like, I've never thought about that before.
I'm having a bit of an identity crisis, really, because I have never thought when I've been getting my tattoos, and I've got, I think, 37 or 38, which is crazy.
I've never, ever thought that.
Not once when they were putting the needle to my skin have I thought, how is this going to look? Because obviously I'm like, who fucking cares? I look cool as fuck.
In fact, pharmacist yesterday, when I went to get the boil checked out, it's not a boil, guys.
It's a...
The boil that's not a boil.
It's a...
That is a boil.
It's a lump of passion and...
Energy.
Energy.
That's what it is.
The pharmacist...
Couldn't have cared less about my lump.
She was like, let's just discuss your tattoos, you baddie.
She called me a baddie.
Did she? The pharmacist called me a baddie.
Yeah, I actually then proceeded to, because I said I could do with it sorting because I've got my podcast.
Of course.
