Grateful? Grateful for what? I'm a Spurs fan.

I'm not going to show gratitude to the New York Knicks after they beat us in the NBA Finals.

Yeah, I am a little crazy because I believe there are tons of reasons that we need to thank the New York Knicks for putting us in this position.

And in this episode, I'm going to run down the three top reasons why we need to be grateful.

Gratitude isn't always butterflies and flowers, happiness, sunshine and rainbows, right? Sometimes gratitude has to come from a dark place.

Sometimes it comes from a painful place.

And I think right now, because so many Spurs fans are still sour about what happened this weekend with the New York Knicks winning the NBA finals on our home court.

that we need to really channel that energy right now.

And one thing that I like to do when it comes to leadership, when it comes to me being a dad, but also when it comes to me being a friend, I want to make sure that we can put things into perspective.

So we're going to run down three reasons why I believe Spurs fans need to be grateful to the New York Knicks because it's going to put us in a position where we're going to be winning for years and years to come.

The New York Knicks only have a handful of championships in their franchise history.

We have five.

We have a rich and and storied legacy of winning in San Antonio.

And we're going to continue that tradition with this new group.
