Of course, this is a law named after 24-year-old Jennifer Poole, who was murdered by her former partner, Gavin Murphy.

She did not know that Murphy had a previous conviction for assaulting a previous partner.

So Jenny's Law will now put out into the public anyone who has a previous conviction for domestic violence and that'll be put up on a website, on the court service website with the consent of previous victims.

Many members of her family there, her parents, children carrying a framed photograph and Jason Poole coming out to us afterwards just to say it was a really special moment for him given all they've been through and indeed also remarking as well given some of the stories that have been in the news in recent days, too.

As you say, Jason, Jason Poole has been he's been campaigning for this for about four and a half years now.

He's often seen around in and around Leinster House talking to politicians.

And as you said yesterday, When the bill was passed by the Dáil, there was huge applause and you could see the emotion in his face when he was outside.

And tragically ironic that also another piece of legislation bearing a deceased... a woman who was killed at the hands of a partner.

We had Valerie's Law as well passing to change, I suppose, guardianship rights over the surviving children of a couple where one parent has killed another parent.

Yeah, Valerie French was killed by her former husband, James Kilroy, in 2019 in Castlebar in County Mayo.

But Valerie's family in particular, her brother, have long argued that Kilroy should not have had automatic control of the couple's three children.

So now that law passing through, essentially, as you say, Juliet, that where the killer, the parent of the other children, that they will not have automatic guardianship rights.
