I think this is especially true for high achieving women because when you're capable, dependable and you know, used to being the one who keeps things moving, you can miss the signs for a long time because you're not slowing down long enough to even have awareness.
You tell yourself, You're just tired.

Simplifying your routines helps.
any of those things, but oftentimes what's underneath the exhaustion is not just a scheduling issue.
It's the way we're holding and leading our lives.
You know, sometimes it's the quiet belief that everything depends on us, that we can't let go and we can't slow down because if we do, everything will fall apart.
And you know, one of the biggest lies women absorb without even realizing it is this idea that being a good mom, a responsible woman, or even a faithful Christian woman means always being available and always staying on top of things, always pushing through.
The world disciples women into hustle and performance and constant availability.
But God invites them into rest and stillness and dependence, which leads you to peace that is unexplainable.

And that doesn't mean your responsibilities disappear.
