Is It Quiet?
So on my way in, I was zechar to have a conversation with a bari, and I asked him, how's life? And he said, quiet.
And I was thinking about it afterwards.
I mean, not that there was much time to think about it since we spoke and now, but the point is that a person has to be able to appreciate quiet.
Most people enjoy noise and tumult, but really when things are quiet, it's much more of a menucha.
And really, you know, the expression no news is good news.
Now really, no news is good news is really a very negative view of the world.
That's true.
I mean, there's truth to it because we mentioned many times that news is always negative.
That's true.
But no news is good news is more of like a sarcastic negative.
Okay, nothing going on.
Okay, that's good.
But really, there's no such thing as nothing going on.
When you say something's quiet, you mean that everything's going according to schedule.
