Yeah, well, I was gonna say, alongside, uh, the scheduling of a men's test series, men's football World Cup as well.
But one thing that has struck me about it is the difference between the last couple of tournaments and this tournament.
So last year when we did the, we had the 50 World Cup, 50 Over World Cup in India, we had the whole ticketing, um, like debacle where the tickets weren't on sale until about a few days before the tournament started.
And then in 2024 we had the T20 World Cup being moved from Bangladesh to UAE, matches played in front of mostly empty stadiums.
So this kind of, the captain's carnival on Wa- Waterloo Bridge felt quite, quite refreshing, I think.
Um, oh, I feel, I feel like it's, it's, it's a completely different era really, isn't it, with the exposure and how much cr- cricket visibility's changed in this country.
It's, it's everywhere and I think, you know, the game has changed so much since then.
I know, I feel like we always bang on about The Hundred and the impact of The Hundred and crowds and, you know, we've seen record crowds in Ashes and things like that since.
Um, it's significantly different space, but I think, yeah, like a home World cup as a player and, and even as, as cricket fans, that is the, that is the stuff that you wanna get your, your teeth sunk into.
Um, but yeah, I, I, I mean, I just, I hope it's a really strong compa- like campaign from the girls.
