Define Your Dopamine w/ John Woerner :: Ep 92

So habit stacking, what I guess I can kick us off.

It's literally one of my favorite hacks when I'm trying to implement something new.

My sister, Ashley, and I talk about this a lot is like we are both ADHD.

And so when you this, you know, the squirrel distraction mindset happens.

The best way I have found to reel it in and to start something new is to attach it to something I'm already doing.

How often do you implement habit stacking and how do you in your life?

I think I'm in the habit of trying to find a way to habit stack.

Nice.

So like you said, Jonah and I were talking the other day about batch producing podcasts like we do with a lot of different clients.

But we've been releasing them like, hey, let's get them produced at the beginning of the week for release that week.

I'm like, why don't we just get in the habit of just getting them all knocked out, scheduled out? So stuff like that, you know, just finding better, more efficient ways to do things.

I'm bad at establishing habits.

I'm really bad.

Yeah.

You have said that.

Yeah.

It's

interesting.

You say that about the podcast, because that is how I do almost everything is like, if I'm going to do it, I do it all at once.

My husband, Dave, I keep saying, you should, you got to come do the podcast with me.

And he's like, if you did one episode at a time, I would do it with you.

But you podcast all day and we just have different speeds.

Like that's not him.

And this is, that's how I function best is like today.

I think we have five or six episodes.
