And this week's featured guest on the show, a former Food Network Chop champion, Chef Phillip Dell, who's now in the Nashville area.

Last weekend, Philip won a whole hog grand championship in Spring Hill, Tennessee.

Real interesting background on his story, his culinary journey, been on several shows.

Right.

And it is like I have, I left Nashville, Tennessee partially because of the growth was so fast that my 20 minute commute from Franklin to Spring Hill down to Nashville to right started taking 45 to the point where it wasn't worth staying there anymore.

So I understand that, that concern too.

And that's why, again, it comes back to just digging into the laws, making sure that we're doing things by the book.

According to Mount Pleasant Police Department, Ryan was an officer in Murray County Law Enforcement and that Murray County Law Enforcement agency from January 2013 until October 2015.

Police officials in Spring Hill stated that Ryan started with the Spring Hill Police Department in 2019 and was fired in 2023 when he was a canine officer.

According to an internal investigation from Spring Hill Police Department, Ryan was terminated for conduct unbecoming an officer, honesty and truthfulness issues, as well as false and inaccurate reporting.

It all stems from an investigation in 2023 when canine Officer Ryan was questioned about his investigative techniques involving a drug case in a parking lot at a Home Depot.

After watching Officer Ryan's videos, I concluded that Officer Ryan is using canine narco to violate the rights of citizens of Spring Hill.

Officer Ryan has had plenty of canine training.

He was a canine handler for the Mount Pleasant Police Department and is currently a canine handler for the Spring Hill Police Department, the report concluded.

The internal report leading to Ryan's termination also looked closely at other investigations and traffic stops made by the K-9 officer while employed by the department.

No, we're excited to be here and excited to continue the conversation from our last time together.

And fun fact, you're getting ready to launch Williamson County Neighbors in Spring Hill.

I sure am.

I'm super excited about that.

Spring Hills is a growing community, local to here, and it needs a representation of the local stories and the local people and being able to find resources for information that isn't a massive Facebook page with 7,000 posts a week.

I'm excited to do it.

Yeah, I'm so

Good morning.

We're watching traffic build pretty good in a couple of spots out here, especially coming up from the south of 65 where it connects with a 40 through the Spring Hill area as you continue through that section of South Franklin into Williamson County.

It's crowded a little bit more than it was 15-20 minutes ago.
